If you fail to get your share of the jackpot it will be due to your game having lost contact to the server at point when you pressed the "claim" button. You could try to contact King player support about this:
They might be able to give you something as compensation. In future, before you play the last level of Candy Royale check you are connected to the server. If the game allows you to buy boosters with gold bars that is usually a good indication that you are connected. If you are not connected, close and reopen the app until it connects after pressing "play".
