There never was another a dragon so I could beat this level. I lost my winning streak and used 25 coins.

I am sorry that you have lost your winning streak due to a bug. Can you let us know if there was a dragon nest similar to the one below on the level where you encountered the bug?
In any case, as you have lost gold bars, I suggest contacting support through this link.
You will receive an automated email at first. Reply to that email and explain your problem. We were told that Support cannot restore win streaks, but hopefully they will compensate you for the gold you spent due to this bug.
