I can’t add friends it a let me add but when I go to my list it shows I have no friends?

Hi and Welcome to the King Community
It seems there might be an issue with how you're attempting to add friends in Candy Crush. The primary method is now through a shared link, or by clicking on player avatars where they appear in the game. Older methods like "Add Friends You've Played With" or "Add Friends with a Similar Progress" have been removed. also you can still add and connect with friends right from within the game, no Facebook needed!
Here’s how:
Tap the Friends icon at the bottom of your game screen From there, you’ll see players who have sent you lives or interacted with your game Tap the “Add” button next to any player you want to add You can also tap “Invite” to send email invites to friends if you'd like!
