I need some serious help with level 1713. I don't understand it

Welcome to the community @rainbow3224A . The old Candy Crush may have been tough, but it was more fun. It was a puzzle type game, and we had to use some strategy and plan our moves.

This is just the start, good luck with later levels, good that you are in the new candy crush originally it was even more though
Hello @TTmc Welcome to the community! It's great to see you here asking about this level as I am just playing the same episode myself in my latest account. So far I have found the levels really easy but I can see why you find this level confusing. It is one of the older levels King left similar to the original. It used to be tricky one requiring some strategic thinking, but it has been affected by the new jelly fish.
I hope you will read my post here and would love to hear from you how you get on.
On the starting board the magic mixers are locked up. All of them need to be uncaged and destroyed to pass this level. They also produce liquorice. I have found that in my game the jelly fish will uncage the mixers for us. The game also drops the right candies for me to make special candies and combos to clear the blockers quickly. We have lots of moves to play this level. It looks to be a lucky board and I get the impression the algorithm has been tweaked to help us pass, BUT it does not seem to work.
Now I have the choice to play a double fish combo or a fish + stripe combo below.
I play the fish + stripe combo here, hoping it might set off in one of the magic mixers and go downwards, so it might uncage the entire column of magic mixers all at once.
I read the game right and it did exactly that:
I thought I was winning with that but it was a mistake! Uncaging all the mixers all at once led to my board being swamped by liquorice as the mixers spawn those very quickly. It appears that this is an example of the AI malfunctioning, because I am sure the game actually wants us to pass this level with ease and that is not the case here.
So I would suggest a different strategy. Try to uncage the mixers a few at a time. There may be something wrong with this week's algorithm for this level, because I do get swamped by liquorice a lot here, which is not at all typical for this level range.
It leads to an oops.
Here is a video showing how the level can be passed. Try to clear the liquorice on the board before uncaging the mixers. You really do need to get some good combos of special candies to hit those mixers when they have been uncaged, try to get as many of them all at once as you can with wrap/stripe combos. The game keeps encouraging us to use the fish, but they do more harm than good on this level. If you hit a mixer it will pause spawning liquorice, so try to hit them as much as you can. Each takes five hits to destroy, but when one blows up it will also hit the one next to it.

I’ve been playing this level for 2 weeks and this is as close as I’ve come. I give up. I don’t want to play the game anymore. The episode race was over 2 weeks ago. I don’t waste gold bars when there’s nothing to gain. I just don’t care anymore.
