Do you feel like the game’s difficulty has increased a lot lately? I’ve noticed a drastic change, it’s gotten so hard that I’m losing in the early levels, even ones I’ve already passed before.

@christinewupp Interesting since I don't get events and never have I didn't see much difference no matter where I was on the map 12,000, 13,000 it was all the same to me. I'm of course in the 19,000 but 18,000 were the same. Depending I guess on your test group.
In addition to the above comment: King have introduced events like Midsummer Meltdown to make the game generally harder for all players. These levels are placed into our games to hold players up and force us to spend boosters/gold/money to win the episode races and advance to the next episode. Events are often what makes the game harder or easier for players now. This is a way for King to control level difficulty. The game also controls difficulty by either placing our two colour bombs side by side on the opening board, or far apart. If you get the super charger or not also determines overall difficulty. Have you noticed how the super charger cannot be bought within the game. Ask yourself why not: It is so that King retain control of the game. It depends still on which level range you are playing at and which test group you are in. I have a game at level 3756 and have found some of the episodes I've played recently ridiculously easy to the point of boredom. Many of the other level ranges (7000-10,000) have become more difficult lately.
The last 2000 levels of the game have always been seriously difficult, no matter what the end is/was. I remember this was even the case when the end of the game was level 14,000. Back then levels 12,000 and up were impossible to get through. So if you mean levels 17,500 and upwards, then that is not new but has been a feature of the game for as long as I can remember.

Se me olvidó añadir que, también, cuando tengo la posibilidad de combinar una bomba de color con un caramelo a rayas o con envoltorio el color de esos caramelos está reducido drásticamente por lo que el efecto es muchísimo menor.
The reason you are finding the game harder is probably because of King moving levels around.
Recently, within an Episode, King had moved levels around, but left the numbering the same.
That is, when you play level 4850 (for example) it is no longer the level that it used to be but a different one.
King has moved a lot of difficult levels to the end of the Episode and they have changed some of the first levels in an Episode as well.
I have two cellphones and desktop playing candy crush saga, I use one of my cellphone play to level 19700, but my other cellphone still stay in level level19685, then my desktop is in level 19688,what's wrong with that ?
