Level 1000, 2000, 3000 and further on are easy, almost never fails, as far as I know up to level 10000. But level 8000 often fails, is it some trick that I have not seen? These levels have not changed when they turned all the episodes around.

No I don't think you are missing anything. I noted too when I recently passed that level that compared to other milestone levels it is not very easy nor fun. I just had a bash at it and I failed. It's not very special at all but seems unchanged over the years, according to the videos. If you have it replaced by the midsummer meltdown horror, then of course it's not the usual milestone level, but the original isn't particularly exciting I think.
