Why are there sooo many ads, and the inability to select mute. Can the developer please consider decreasing the ads and their runtime.

Hi @Mindgames You are lucky to see ads in your game. Most players posting here are complaining that they lost their ads! I don't understand why you complain about there being too many ads: no player in Candy Crush is obliged to click on any ads at any time, there is always the option to play the game using gold bars or repeating levels to progress through the game.

I no longer see them after I made a purchase with real money but when I still had ads there always was a mute button, though sometimes this is very well hidden. Those people who create the ads get more and more crafty because they try to make us actually pay attention to the ad, they also deliberately make them longer and longer, hide the mute button so you can hardly see it and after the reward is "granted" you have to wait for another screen to finish etc… This all makes watching ads really annoying. I play without ads and enjoy the game a lot more that way. If you want to be rid of them spend some money on one offer in the game, 99 cent will be enough to get rid of your ads forever.
