Thank you, that is very interesting. It has become quite clear that this dragon problem is not new and has been an issue on and off for years, but it has become more common recently. I fear the only way King could truly fix it would be to rewrite the last remaining human designed levels and remove the original winning mechanisms and algorithms completely. I think that would be terrible shame.
@christinewupp seems you are correct. I just had it happen on a later level that I was going to fail anyway and the dragon didn't drop after the fish hit the candy below it.
Yes it was that or similar. I think it was a wrapped candy that was to the left of where the gummy dragon is in the pic that matched when a few above dropped down and matched it.
I've had this happen recently as well. I think it might happen in these older levels if a jelly fish removes the blocker underneath the dragon on the last move as the programming at the time did not include that as a winning move. Do you by any chance recall if it was a fish that removed the blocker?
