Summer Cup Hoax

I was a winner in the Summer Cup back in June, and have yet to receive any gold bars for July or August. King support keeps telling me to wait for the gold bars to magically appear, so clearly nobody on their end is doing anything to actually investigate the issue. Has anybody else had similar issues? I am feeling like the event was just a hoax to entice people to spend money, and King never had any intention on paying out the gold bars.

i have had the same issue without any resolve. Were you able to have this fixed?

I received the summer cup 200 gold bars in Aug 2 and the other 100 gold bars for winter cup in Aug 3. I make sure to open my account on the first 5 days of the month. It's unfortunate for those who never received their monthly rewards coz I know firsthand how difficult it is to win both the winter and summer cup. I hope this complaint will be resolved soon.

I would suggest contacting player support via the app. If you go via Settings in the app they ought to have a record of your player account winning the competition and they should also have a record of the money you spent, so yes, they ought to help you with this. To contact player support through the app use Settings, then the Help Centre and from there scroll through all the options until you see "contact us" at the bottom.

Im having the same issue i didnt recieve my 200 gold bars..how do we contact someone to rectify this?i spent so much money to win too

I am still getting my 100 gold bars from the winter one like clockwork on the first of every month, despite being prevented from competing in any future ones.

There certainly never was a pop-up about it for August in my game, though the gold may have been added without me noticing. But I did receive 100 gold and a pop-up in July. I wasn't expecting anything mind you, since I remember there have always been issues with these type of monthly rewards in the past.

Hello @Otiscat loads of people have had and are having exactly the same issue as you.

This is all about King's ineptitude and lack of customer care.

Each and every Event run by King that has involved a monthly gold reward has generated loads of complaints about the gold not being received.

It is not a hoax as some people do receive their monthly gold bars, it really is just poor attention to detail and lack of professionalism by King.

It is one thing to be told to wait, but it is now August, so you should be asking them how long do you need to wait for the June portion of the reward

The Manager of this forum @QueenB used to help but for some reason even that changed this year and now anyone that is struggling has no other option than to contact Player Support.

As you have already done this all you can do is keep trying. Always reply to an email that they have sent you and do not start a new complaint each time. Keep replying until you get the help that you deserve.
