You can get those corners by matching a color bomb with a blue candy first, and then, after new candies drop to replace the blue ones, with the colors of those candies. The color bomb dispenser drops them often, and you have a chance to receive a double color bomb combo if you are lucky. It's difficult to get to that dispenser quickly, though.
