levels candy crush

I’m writing because I play Candy Crush on both my tablet and my smartphone. Even though I’m logged in with the same account (same name and ID), the game doesn’t sync between the two devices. The levels I complete on one device don’t show up on the other — they stay at different levels.
Can someone help me understand why this is happening and how to fix it?

Thanks, but I’ve already done all of that several times. For example, on the tablet the game starts me at level 19,686, even though I’ve played up to level 19,880. Meanwhile, on the smartphone it shows I’ve played up to level 19,807.
