As King have started to experiment with striped candy collection leaderboards, I have done some tests myself. Here are my findings, using three episodes around level 10,000:
Method 1:
Speed play. Use of double colour bombs on starting board, use boosters freely to advance through levels as quickly as possible not taking note of striped candies
Result: 11,970 per episode (18.5 minutes taken)
38,822 per hour
Method 2:
Maximising striped candies. Playing stripe + colour bomb combos where possible (ignoring double colour bomb combos), playing underneath striped candy portals etc
Result: 18,450 per episode (26,5 minutes taken)
41,775 per hour
Method 3:
Going wild! Use lots of boosters such as switches and paint brushes to create colour bomb +stripe combos whenever I had a colour bomb on the board (within reason, sometimes other moves were necessary to pass the level)
Result: 24,270 per episode (31,25 minutes taken)
47,000 per hour
All of these methods required some boosters or gold in addition to make sure I passed on my first attempt . I believe that with practice these scores and times could be significantly improved.
