Denize is a pretty tall character, and her height can be difficult to deal with due to the limited real estate of screens. But here is another way you can show her partially when she's out of her lake: just have her splay her long body out on the ground belly-down and hide the entire lower body, legs, tail and all, out of frame, like this picture below:
From this position, she's more willing to have a more cordial meeting with and a better look at smaller characters.
An alternate version would have her maintaining the same posture as the mythical Sphinx.
