Question:
Why do we play this game?
This is the game in a nutshell:
- 20,000 levels of "Bash the hell out of blockers"
- pass levels and episodes to gain gold and boosters to use to help bash the hell out of blockers to help pass more levels and episodes in a merry-go-around of playing essentially the same episode again and again
- all game boards pre determined to pass/fail/need specific boosters or extra moves
- once or twice a year real prize competitions against hundreds of millions of others, which you can't know for sure you will be allowed to compete in
Since the AI has taken over the algorithms have become more obvious and fixed and the new and rewritten levels have become less complex, more repetitive and boring.
There are no special prizes for getting to the end of the map, reaching milestones, gaining impressively high win streaks or champions race win streaks, so why bother with any of that?
What is it that still attracts new players to this game and why do us old players not all leave?
Any answers?
