I'm on level 14, 500ish. Why do you put me in the weekly race for levels as someone on level 100 or so? It's really super unfair!!

You are not in the same race as those players because they are not real. They don't see you in their games and do not race against you themselves.

All players now only see new players in their weekly contests. This is how the event is controlled by King's automated systems. The event is fixed according to how much we have ourselves been playing. So to get onto the podium we have to play about as much as usual, to get first place we have to play more than usual. The last few players in these fake leaderboards usually have stopped playing and are always easy to beat. Take the event for what it is.
