I have been stuck on this level for days. Help! No boosters left and can't buy extra moves. Way too few moves.

I passed here using starting boosters and waiting for some luck which allowed me to hit the sour skulls five times before my moves ran out. I got to this:
At this point I played a UFO and passed immediately.
You do not need to remove the toffee, and the UFOs did go straight for the liquorice which also exploded the cake bomb.
To obtain a free UFO play the Season Pass to the last tier by replaying easy old levels. Playing starting boosters will also help in this level. You can also get those for free from Season Pass and often the daily treat machine will give you some.
Hello @Annie_Booker Are you still stuck on this level? If I look at my opening board I see there are not enough moves.
Players need to get the sour skull first. These seem to take five hits.
Any lucky board would require players to hit the sour skulls five times and then remove the cake bomb. The jelly fish will help with the cake bomb, but they do not target the skulls.
This level is awful. I don't think this can be passed without boosters in 16 moves.
Where did you get this info? I just wonder if it is your own recent experience because I find that it now takes a lot longer to get a lucky board. Some levels it takes well more than 25 attempts. Some players have had to play a level 100 times before getting lucky.
Legendary levels were introduced two years ago. Your comment does not mention these. Why?
Candy Crush uses something called Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment (DDA) — basically, the game keeps track of how many times you’ve failed a level and will eventually give you a much better starting board (what players call a Lucky Board).
For a normal level, that usually happens somewhere between 5–15 attempts.
For Super Hard or Nightmarishly Hard levels, it can take closer to 15–20 tries before the AI really helps you out.
When the Lucky Board shows up, you’ll usually notice lots of good early matches or special candies dropping naturally — that’s your chance to win without boosters.
So just keep at it. If you’ve been trying a dozen times, you’re probably very close to that “helping hand” from the game. Play carefully when you see a strong opening board, and you’ll break through. I have done the same multiple times in end the games AI will help you out eventually
