If you're having trouble opening the locked boxes, it's because you destroyed the magic mixers needed to unlock them too early.
To open those boxes, you need to collect rainbow twists (chains of blockers on the sides). The numbers on the boxes show how many you need to collect before you can unlock them.
The blockers that are already on the board are not enough, so you will need to allow the magic mixers to produce more of them. Do not destroy those mixers until you have collected enough rainbow twists!
