sorry if this is old news, but it’s the first time my chocolate box options have included “in new level wins”
I really don’t like this development (considering that some of the week some of us don’t have new levels to win…)

it's a pita to have to collect in new levels only. That said I'm super jealous of the low count of the colours you must collect. I'm forced to collect about 3000 on new levels (except sometimes not purple). Maybe others have even more than that to collect idk. Perhaps that's some consolation or encouragement for you to keep going.
I also have another question. Does the Elite Chocolate Box also pop up on Wednesdays where new levels come in? And at which level you must be in order to see it? Because my new profile also created for the Daily Stamps and Episode Race retests has been recycled into an old box. I guess today is the day of the Elite Box. No Elite Races, though.
That local profile has moved past level 500 and has experienced Speed Setting and the first Candy Royale as well.
Finished a new gold box without new levels. 1st task was 18 Color Bomb + S/W, 2nd task was 2700 Purple in Level Wins, 3rd task was 26 Levels with 3 Stars and 4th task was 1 Party. This confirms that new style boxes can be finished without new levels under certain circumstances like this one. On the Silver Box I've done, I also got Purple in New Level Wins though I skipped it and done 9 Level Stars instead.
This is also evident from recent walkthroughs I watched from YouTube but will be able to test it by Monday on a brand new profile (For weeks, no chocolate box was froze on my main account which has the old version due to the top of the map but with the recent 60 new levels on Wednesday, I managed to finish 3 boxes with Level tasks (All 3 were First Try Wins)).
It appears to be still there (For now). But I will try later a new profile out to see if it will get them (Wasn't able to do one for today, Monday as I was required to spend more time with my main account where I won't be able to spend so much time for Tuesday afternoon). Creating it on Tuesday Night seems to be a good time as well as the Elite Box is absent still and by that time I will have successfully prepared my main account for the next batch of new levels. I may inform about the experience.
As I'm at the top of the map, I did made some temporary profiles to test out these changes but I always avoided weekends and started on Monday where the Elite Box isn't active (Newbies don't get the Elite Box). It also allows me to try again some of the events for that week in addition like Color Bomb Series and Factory Frenzy
If the changes have been actually reverted as of today, I can say that accounts that have levels had these Chocolate Box Changes for at most 5 months. (September 2025 - 22 February 2026). Those were great changes from my side, for the most of the part. Has a user who still has levels left and not stuck on one the new version or did receive the old ones again? I have a prediction that the new box (And the new Season Pass too, the season tab is empty as I said before) has been rollbacked to make further changes so as to have feedback addressed.
Also, the box will be the next source of getting Rare Pin Packs for the new Pin Set (My only source as I get no races any longer) but I closed a box before I was able to test out the new pins, however.
21500 is also a good level for Purple (And Purple in Level Wins). 21491 is also good for Wrapped as it will present you usually on a part of the board a Colorbomb next to a Wrapped Candy, allowing you to combine them to create Wrapped. Collected up to 70 at most, usually 40-50 on each attempt of 21491.
And those are two of the new levels that came today, didn't expected such ones, however and I'm excited with these two.
Last week, during the second task in the Golden Chocolate Box, I saw two separate instances: collecting purple candies (new level only) and collecting purple candies (old level usable).
I haven't encountered 'purple in new level wins' since I first encountered 'purple in any level wins' (which must have been around January 23rd according to other posts in this thread), so I guess it's gone for now.
Another update incoming. I've managed to get the Purple that needs just level win on the second chocolate and works with old levels if you win them (On none levels I've done it I lost) as well. Can anyone confirm that Purple in new level wins is now dead from Silver and Gold boxes? I guess at the same time this Purple task that requires level wins only (Can be old level), the W+W task as well as the Lollipop and Free Switch Tasks no longer appear with Collection Tasks and 3rd task is now similar to the fourth ones.

I found it, posted as a reply to a post from November 10, 2025. Good grief. I still can’t find HM’s post from yesterday that I was replying to, so the reply doesn’t make that much sense but here it is:
Although I still have the old box - long may that last - I’ve had the same problem as you every week for the last three weeks ie having to let the gold box time out because, in my case, the last chocolate was the dreaded pass X new levels or pass Y levels on the first try, and then those two tasks repeated. And each week that happened when I had just one new episode left or else had finished them all, what a coincidence. It’s very unfair to freeze out players at the top of the map for four days by giving them what is, literally, an impossible task.
Good question @christinewupp. I can’t find it either, it’s not in my drafts and didn’t go for moderation. It was in reply to a post by @HM100 which I also can’t find now. What a trainwreck this site is.

I am trying to remember what was the first task in the box containing the wrap collection for the second chocolate, and I think it was CB+wrapped/CB+striped. I don't remember getting any 'new level wins' for the first chocolate today.
