I bought gift cards for me, but I activated them the balance went to $0.

Hi, I purchased a $15 gift card on September 25th. When I activated it and tried to buy the Starter Pack for Soda Crush, it indicated that I couldn’t make the purchase. I thought it was because I had a new username than before. I tried again on October 2nd, making sure that the username was the same. This time, I found my account. I bought a $15 gift card. I activated it the next day and tried to purchase the Starter Pack. The same message appeared. I went into my account, and both of the cards were listed with a balance of $0. I hadn’t purchased anything. Help!

You should be able to buy whichever package you intend to purchase! Did you try to “redeem” the cards first? Per my knowledge, that is what we need to do first for the gift card amount to be applied to the game we want it in. Then, make the purchases!!

I would suggest you to contact King Player Support team directly from your game App and report the issue.

I thought it used to be money in my account, like the Starter Pack cost $0.99. When I clicked on it, the purchase failed, and no money was taken out of your account. So I am confused.

I don't know about Soda, but in Candy Crush Saga I think the gift cards give you gold bars, not actual cash value? Have you checked if your gold balance has gone up after you cashed in the gift card?
