I don’t do candy royale. I shut the app down and reload it. Now I can’t get past this screen. Why bother forcing me into something I don’t want to play ? What do you gain from it ?

Candy Royale exists to pass levels in a row to get a share of Goldbars. The recent ones gave 175 bars to me.
If you lose, then you'll eventually get it again after some time in a weaker version.

Both the Win Streak and Candy Royale serve the same purpose and that is to try and tempt players into caring for something enough that they will purchase stuff to maintain them.
That is, the Royale isn't there to kill your Streak it is there to give you something else to worry about when you lose a level.

Just start a level @marcelgelinas and then immediately quit. It will cost you a life but at least the Royale won't bother you for awhile then.
