Color Bomb Series can't be skipped but Factory Frenzy can be however.
It is a very common question @ewilli72 but it is not a question that anyone here can answer. More often than not though features of Candy Crush are mandatory. Even some features that appear to give you a choice by having an X button still make you play them after you have selected the X.
The Colour Bomb Race and Factory Frenzy prove that King can allow us to opt out of a feature which I suppose also indicates that they want is to play Royale.
