Yes @freemind9 what you describe has happened to a lot of people. I have never seen a fix mentioned for this issue though other than to contact King Player Support. Not receiving gold from a 'race' applies to both the Candy Royale and the Episode Race.

There isn't a lot you can do about the issue and even though the linked post says the issue has been fixed the issue was first reported in March 2023 and complaints have never stopped.
For the time I had races I didn't had the issue. I'm unable to check this as I will always be out of levels and the new levels each week will be done before the game has the chance to give me a race to do. Can anyone else repro this issue, at least or not?
