Hey fellow Crushers. How I love this game ! However , some things I have been noticing lately have got me despising this game ! So , I participated in the most recent Winter cup was lucky enough to qualify for the finals . It started here in Ontario Canada at 3;00 AM on January 3rd 2026 . I am still on vacation so unencumbered by the notion of getting up early for work I decided to wait up for the start of the final to do a race or 2 to get a head start. All excited , 3 AM finally rolled around and as soon as it went live I finished my first level . My meager 80 or 90 blue candies registered and i got to see the leader board for the first time . The few blue candies I earned from that level registered me at a very low position on the board. I scrolled up to see who was at number 1 and low and behold some player named " Tina " was already at almost 5000 blue candies ! Really ? How could she / he / it have 5000 blue candies barely 5 minutes in to the competition ? The rules of this competition clearly state that cheating is not allowed ( of course ) ( how you would cheat is a mystery to me ) However King can cheat and rob players at will right ?

Case in point if I run out of moves at the end of a level they always offer me 5 moves for 10 gold bars,( I never see ads anymore because I was stupid enough to make a purchase there ) 10 gold bars cost me 1.50$ if i purchased them at 129.99 plus tax for 1000 bars . if I pay the 10 gold bars and only use 1 move to complete the level , what happens to the remaining 4 moves that I paid for ? They are stolen by King , thats what happens to them. Why cant I bank those moves that I paid for to use them when I get stuck on a level down the road ? Oh but that does't make good business sense for King , they are just happier to steal from their players .

These are just 2 examples of how King defrauds their players I could post dozens more of their psychological tricks to keep you glued to the game but I dont have all night and all of tomorrow to sit at this keyboard.

King , You got me once but never again

I guess it could be viewed many ways , however I respectfully disagree with that . Of course gold bars do not have a cash value in the game as you cant cash them out for real money . But if I paid real money for the gold bars every time I hit that green button I am paying real money in the form of gold bars . Furthermore you are not paying to pass because you pay your gold bars and there is no guarantee that those 5 moves will make you beat the level. Many times I have shelled out gold bars for 5 moves and was not able to pass the level but hey good old King has my back because they then offer me 5 more moves but this time for 25 gold bars 🤣 And if I'm really lucky and blessed they throw in some useless booster like a color bomb and bury it where its of no help.

This is how it goes when I'm doing really well at the game , when I'm losing badly they get much more generous with their offerings to try to make you feel better and not delete their app

As to your point of the amusement park , If anyone bought a ticket at full price and spent the whole day waiting in line , left the park tired and frustrated , the real question becomes , Would you go back ?

Think I'll go have an apple, that is, of course, if the little green men from the grocery store didnt come into steal my unused ones 🤣
