Makes no sense then I have to wait a very long time to play it?
I think it is because King hasn't kept abreast of changing attitudes @chris9823.
The wait that you mention is meant to be a trick that makes people want to play more. The idea being that once you have run out of lives the wait is supposed to make you appreciate and want to play the game more.
This trick might have worked twenty years ago when the game was first released, but nowadays everyone is used to TikTok shorts and being able to do anything without waiting.
It is the same with level difficulty the people at King think that the difficulty of a level determines how much fun a player has. The more difficult a level is the more we are supposed to appreciate it when we complete a really difficult level. This is them supposed to encourage us to keep playing.
Again this might have worked twenty years ago but players' nowadays aren't prepared to be stuck playing the same level over and over.
