I used an old Facebook account to create one for my Candy crush Saga game. Is there a way to change it and use my Gmail instead?

Yes. I had 515 Gold bars, about 20+ colour bombs, 15 stripped and wrapped, 0 Lucky Candy, the rest I can't really remember.

About the GB and boosters, do you remember roughly how much you had?
@Alienscar I've played a couple of levels, still no gold bars. I really wish there's a way they could come back.
@Maria_Jo these nested replies don't make things easy so in case you missed my response please try playing a couple of levels to see if that helps to restore your gold.
@QueenB Is the gold not supposed to sync as well?

Yes. Thank you so much. It has synced now. Though I have no boosters and all my gold bars are gone. 😭 😭

I’ve reached out on your behalf to make sure your progress is correctly linked to your King account. Could you please open the game again and double-check that you’re now on the correct level?
If everything looks good, you should be all set going forward. If anything still seems off, just let me know and we can take another look 😉
UPDATE: So, I used the [Forgot Password] option, and it worked. Thank you for that. The only issue now is that the levels did not sync. On my Facebook account I was on 15,831 but the King account shows 160. Should I just stick with the Facebook? The reason I wanted to use a King account was because, I heard it was more secure.
Yes, I did use the arrowed option. And I still get the same error message

Normally the wrong email and password message appears when the wrong area of the profile menu is used
As indicated by the black arrow once you have created a King account you have to use the LOG IN WITH EMAIL option. If you use the SIGN UP WITH EMAIL option after creating an account you get that error message.
Did you use the arrowed option?

I tried this. When I got to step 3[Log in to your King Account], it said "wrong email and password" combination.
