Lives

Hello @QueenB, can you please speak to the team about getting rid of the pop up about buying lives.

This is very annoying I have enough lives thanks to generous friends, but this popping up every time I am down to my last 1 before I get more from my friends list is very distracting. Sometimes I almost click on it by mistake and I would hate to waste my gold on accidently buying lives that I do not need. Thank you in advance.🤗

Sorry I was wrong. I hadn't played the game since the latest change and my method no longer works @T0rr1e ! In fact there is no way to escape that horrible pop-up now….

Hi Cristine, sometimes I get caught up in the game and do not realise I am out of lives until that annoying screen pops up, and like @MannyFae says I do not get a chance to refill my lives before that annoying feature. I hope they get rid of it soon. Thank you to both you and MannyFae for taking the time to help.

I concur with Vicky's feedback.

In my game, and I suspect Vicky's too, the 'level failed' screens with the 'Replay' button are gone altogether. When you fail a level, the game goes to the starting screen immediately, and if you are on your last life, you will see that 'Buy lives' screen instead. This speeds things up when you need to replay the level multiple times, but the 'Buy lives' pop-up is definitely annoying. In fact, yesterday I barely escaped wasting gold on a life I didn't need. I prefer the way it was before, I think.

I am glad you brought this up because there is another player who has been struggling with a similar green pop-up, so I've created a thread about the green buttons in Discussions now. It's definitely time for King to look at this feature. Too many players are being caught out by these green buttons.

I usually manage to avoid that screen popping up in my game by refilling my lives before it pops up. This screen will pop up if you press "play" or "replay" on a level and you have 0 lives, so the time to refill your lives from friends is after you failed your last life but before you press "play" again:

Use the X in the top right corner (not "replay") to exit the screen just after you have used your last life, refill your lives and then press "play" again.

While we unfortunately cannot adjust this feature for you right now, having feedback such as yours available enables our developers to make adjustments and changes to our game in future updates, which will hopefully introduce new features as well as potential changes to in-game lives as well as the game in general that will match your tastes.
