Many years ago ………….
Tiffi accidentally fell into the Candy Kingdom and brought chaos into Mr. Toffee's orderly world. He became her adopted father and has been the beloved mayor of Candy Town for as long as anyone can remember. His unmatched passion for Candy matching means he has little tolerance for chaos and inefficiency. After being in the Candy Kingdom, she has become such a mischievous ball of enthusiasm. Although she eventually wants to get home, she's happy to stick around for adventure, exploration, and, of course, Candy!
One day as Tiffi is heading towards Mr. Toffee’s candy store, she passes by the toy store. She hasn’t been in that store ever since her sister Kimmy left Candy Town. She decides to walk into the store to see what new toys they have.
Inside the store Tiffi meets up with the Nutcracker, Jean-Luc. He originated as a member of a Christmas toy set before falling into the Candy Kingdom, where he initially believed he was a prisoner.
As she walks up and down the aisles, she hears the sounds of someone moaning. She follows the sound and finds Jean-Luc sitting with his hand on his jaw. She asks him what happened and he tells her that he’s a nutcracker and he found some nuts so he decided to crack one open. Much to his surprise, he bit down on the nut so hard that he broke his jaw. Tiffy has the solution for him. She walks away for a couple of minutes and comes back dressed in a fairy’s outfit holding a magic wand in her hand. She waves the wand towards his jaw as fairy dust appears. After waving the wand a couple of times the pain in his jaw stops and Tiffi has fixed it with her magic. He thanks her very much, and they become friends. Tiffi walks out of the store and heads towards her father’s store.
Jean-Luc is fascinated by this young girl that he just met. Although he initially believes he is a prisoner in this strange world, after meeting Tiffi, he decides he does not want to go back home. He bumps into her a couple of times after that first meeting but she can’t remember his name, Jean-Luc. One day he meets up with a good friend of hers, Yeti, and he looks so sad. He tells Yeti that he has fallen in love with Tiffi but she can’t even remember his name. Yeti suggests that he should go to Soda World to talk to her sister, Kimmy, and she might be able to help him.
