Using Gold Bars

Question

Can you use(not purchase) Gold bars to get Boosters? And, if so, what Boosters can you get by using Gold bars?

I did end up using gold bars to help me get the one candy I needed.  Although, the use of gold bars are helpful if you're stuck on a level, I really don't want to continuously use them, since trying to gain them isn't easy. Hopefully, King will bring back the Free Switch in the Sweet Cinema. The least they could do is to either tell us a possible date of it returning, or give us another way of getting them. Anyways, Thanks for answering my question!

Of course you can @stephanie2024 !  Click on your avatar/picture at the top your map screen and your inventory will show up. Here you can purchase hand switches with gold bars. Click on the booster you want to purchase. The bottom offer is the best value.

I only need 1 Free Switch, to get another candy in the chocolate box. Today is my last day to get the box filled, but I cannot do so because I can't get the Free Switch. So, I thought I could use gold bars that I have to get the 1 switch. Please let me know if I would be able to do so. I would still need one more candy, but maybe I could be lucky to get the right move.
