Thanks again for your patience while this issue was being investigated.

The Studio team has now released a fix for the recent freezing, lagging, and crashing issues some players experienced after updating to version 1.327.0.1.

The fix should now be rolling out for both Android and iOS players. Please check your app store for the latest available update.

A few players have already shared that installing the newest update has solved the issue for them, which is great to hear.

Please note that updates can sometimes take a little while to appear for everyone, depending on your device, region, or app store. If you do not see the update yet, please give it a little time and check again later.

Is anyone else’s games freezing and then crashing? The last few days my games are consistently freezing and crashing. Costing me gold bars and boosters. I have good internet service and am having the same problem using my data on my phone.

update. Still having the same problem. My internet and my iphone 17 pro have not changed and I have not had a problem with any other app or game. I will monitor for when Candy Crush has a fix for the problem but until then I am done with the game. It has cost me too many gold bars and boosters. It only seems to freeze when I am using them and close to winning.

Hi everyone, thanks for all the reports here.

We’re currently keeping an eye on reports where the game freezes or crashes, especially near the end of a level, after using boosters, or after buying Extra Moves.

If this happens to you, please first:

update the game to the latest version
fully close the app and reopen it

If the issue happens again, please reply with:

your Game ID - How to find your Game ID
your device and OS version
your game version
the level number
whether you bought Extra Moves
which boosters were active
the date and time it happened
a short screen recording or a screenshot, if possible

That information helps a lot when checking these reports with the team.

At the moment, we’re not seeing a widespread issue affecting all players, but we do understand that some of you are still experiencing freezing or crashing from time to time.

To help rule out common causes, we recommend trying the following:

Make sure your game is updated to the latest version
Restart your device
Check that you have enough free storage available
If you’re playing on Facebook, try switching to a different browser

If the issue is still happening after that and especially if:

it affects your progress
happens after a purchase
or involves lost items

👉 the next step is to contact our Player Support team through the game.

They will get access to your account details and can investigate your case more closely and follow up with you directly.

You can reach them by opening the game app and go to:
Settings (⚙️) → Account & Help → Help Center and select your topic → scroll all the way down and select "Contact Us"

Thanks again for reporting the recent freezing/crashing. I’ve checked internally and at the moment we’re not seeing a large spike in crash reports, so I’d like to gather a bit more detail to understand what’s going on.

Some of you have provided the platform you are currently having this issue on but not everyone so ff you’re still experiencing this issue, could you please share:

Which platform you’re playing on (iOS, Android, Facebook in browser, Windows app, etc.)
Is the game still crashing and how many times has it crashed since yesterday?

This will help us identify whether this is platform-specific or linked to something else. If you’re playing on Facebook in a browser, please mention that specifically, (we have another issue being investigated for Facebook crashes).

I’m looking into this and will share the feedback with Player Support and if this needs to be investigated by the developers. I'll keep you updated 🫡

Unfortunately, even when it is plainly their fault, you won't get a sensible answer from King and they will always blame the players device and memory.

King's response is stuck in the past as today's devices are just as powerful as computers and the majority of people playing this game now have super fast broadband.

I am sorry to say that all you can do is keep playing the best you can until King realise they have a problem and fix it.

Happened when I was watching a ad that was for a game emulating galaca or space invaders.

The ad froze and the game rebooted, I lost a double color bombo on this.

No, I'm an Android user. Since I'm an addicted crusher, I was checking here and in the app store for some news regarding the fix :) I can play again! Hope the issue will be resolved soon for everyone!

That's an interesting question! From what I remember, only few players provided their device details while reporting the issue!

my apps automatically update - it is not fixed for me. Just out of interest- is this only happening to people using iPhones?

There is a new version of the game in the app store 1.327.1.1 and the problem stems to be finally resolved :)
