There are several current ongoing advert issues, so it might help to know precisely which issue you are suffering from.
One issue is that adverts aren't closing as they should but are instead opening a website.
Another issue is that the X to close an advert has been placed to near the edge of the screen.
Yet another issue with adverts is that they are no longer being offered to obtain extra moves.
Finally, and this issue isn't just isolated to adverts, but watching an advert is causing games to freeze.
Note that if you have made a purchase using real money then this is why your adverts aren't working. Once you make a purchase, King removes your advert features.
