Can anyone clarify what the dates are for the 2nd chance round 1? The round right after the first knockout..

No emails are sent @Robbowl1971 you will know if you need to play in the Second Chance Round 1 because you didn't qualify (finish at least fifth) in the First Knockout Round, or your leader board is still active when you play.
You will not play in the Second Chance Round if you qualified in the 1st Knockout.
And on my app the icon to say what place you are on the leaderboard looks like it's sleeping. Is this normal or does that mean I made the next round? I'm from the United States
Seeing zzz's on your leader board is normal. If you press the icon it will display a countdown to when the next round starts. This means you have qualified.
The next round (Second Knockouts: Stage 3) starts 09:00 EDT on the 19th March.

The second chance rounds are only for players who failed to qualify in the first knockout round.
Second chance round 1 started yesterday afternoon European time and finished a few hours ago. This is the official timing:
Round 1
Start: 09:00 EDT – 16 March 2026 End: 09:00 EDT – 17 March 2026
Advance Rule: Finish Top 3 to move to Round 2
Round 2
Start: 03:00 EDT – 18 March 2026 End: 03:00 EDT – 19 March 2026
