Hi. Reading reddit there is no point me playing the tournament this year? There are players referring to themselves are proffesionals, spending 15k on gold stocks and some people who made it to last years live finals confirmed they spent thousands. I thought this specifically was for " no professional" players and could be won by any dedicated player. So if I dont have $15000to spend...I shouldn't bother. Makes me sad. I was having fun. Just disappointed it isn't a fair comp

We know the ten people who made it to the live finals last year so if you would like to share the identity of the person who claimed to have reached the finals by spending 15,000 dollars then I'd be interested to hear who that might be. As I point out in the middle thread I linked: You cannot buy yourself to winning All Stars. In fact I got very close myself last year (33rd position overall) having spent nothing at all.

Thank you @gracie7896 Firstly the reference to cookiemae is not a good one. We know Cookiemae in this community, I wonder why this guy is name dropping her.

This person is a show-off but not actually claiming that he spent anything nor producing any evidence that someone else did. This is hearsay. So the quote of 15,000 dollars is a third party account of what this guy "read" somewhere? It's like Chinese whispers. This is how rumours get spread around the internet. This "professional" player got 25th place, so they got not a dime for all those efforts then.

There is no such thing as being a professional Candy Crush player @gracie7896 as to be a professional means to be paid. King do not pay anyone to play Candy Crush.

There are undoubtedly plenty of people that are paying a lot of money to play Candy Crush and this is true even without the incentive of the All Stars prize.

Paying any amount of money will not guarantee you a first place position as a lot of people have complained about paying money just to find themselves unable to compete at a quick enough pace.

In fact one player on here is suing King because they spent over $3000 in 2023 and did not make the finals.

Do you have the names of the people that are claiming to have made the final? If there are more than ten people saying that they played in the final well that obviously means some of them didn't.

Don't worry about what other players' are doing or spending just concentrate on your game. If you have made it this far and have qualified for the final three rounds then all you need to worry about is staying at the top of your leader board.

More than money you need free time in order to stand even a slim chance of winning. If you can't play the game non-stop then you won't be able to win no matter how much money you spend.

I appreciate your reply very much. This was the post I was referring too. Said previously he made it. Refers to other "professionals" he knows that play and spend thousands. I guess i will Google smurfing for next year. Was fun so far this year
