after playing for only an hour and a half, two players are in double digit thousands point. There’s no way that can happen being you only get a couple hundred points from passing the level. What is up with that?

The top 2 players would need to have used tokens. If they did, the scores are reasonable - even not very fast.
I notice your screen doesn't even show tokens. Is that because you used them up in previous rounds?
