Stuck on 5450. Suspect AI is part of the Game Now

I’ve been playing since 2013 without ever having to buy a thing. I just upgraded my account to a “King Account” and I’ve been stuck on this same level for about two weeks now. The fishy thing is now on the very last move several color bombs come down, sometimes three in a row, suggesting I pay to continue my game if I want to clear the level by buying extra moves or gold bars. These color bomb sequences never happened to me before I “upgraded” to the King account. It’s suspicious and boring and makes me not wanna play anymore. Sigh.

The game is being written and designed by an AI ,@DFeaver . This has been public knowledge for about a year now, when the AI took over the entire design and re-design of all levels. This is an ongoing process which is unlikely to be reversed or halted from what we have seen over the past twelve months. AI is not "part of the game" now, it is everything: AI controls every aspect of the game, from luck and level outcome, board design, features and how the events work to even how fast our opponents on "live" leaderboard contests score blue candies.

It's King's choice to make their game like this and they never listen to the feedback from old fans of the game. So sadly: It is as it is and most loyal players like you have either adjusted to the new style of the game or have stopped playing it. Most have quit.

The fishy thing and colour bombs dropping is part of ongoing tests being done by the AI, which happens every year post All Stars. It's a coincidence this has appeared in your account at the same time you upgraded to a King account. We are all seeing these changes. Oh yes, and level 1000 has just been butchered away after years and years of being everyone's go-to level, which for many players will be the last straw. Fun is a word the AI does not understand.

I’ve been playing since the game became available. I completely understand what you’re saying. A fairly regular outcome happens to me on the harder levels with smaller / odd puzzle sizes. I’ve had a complete row to fill up with color bomb on my last move. I have even had the matching colored candies fall beside each other , and it won’t register.
