Hello @QueenB . There were some issues lately that made everyone wonder why so many posts are made into older threads.
One issue I have just spotted it that a recent post entitled "How much is your gold balance", or something very similar to that, which in fact I commented on a fortnight ago, has been added to my thread from 2023 (linked below). The original post which I remember well seems to have disappeared, only the replies show up, having been added to my old outdated thread.
I don't understand how this can happen or why it happens. The system seems to create collection threads in Discussion, which is not appropriate in my opinion. Collection threads belong in Support for support issues, not in Discussions or the Candy Corner. If we have a system where any thread or topic is automatically placed inside another (older) thread with the same title, just because that thread already exists, this might explain why Discussion is getting sparse, why newbies are being put off from posting and participating (because their contributions have disappeared) and why outdated old threads keep making it to the front page.
