Unlimited life after timer expired - (Known Issue)!

Unlimited Lives may not work as expected when playing Star Tournament. Even if the Unlimited Lives timer is showing in your game, Star Tournament may still use your normal stored lives instead.

The team is aware of this issue, but unfortunately it is not a quick fix and may take time to resolve.

Hi all,

I remember before when you get unlimited life after imer has been expired you whill have 5 lives.

I noticed that now this is not the case. I got unlimited lives when we complete the second chest in Team challenge,, but after timer expired I had only one life available .

Is that normal?

Did you change the game in latest updates , or Team quest unlimited lives are not working properly?

Please advise

I’ve heard back from the team, and you were right to flag it. Unlimited Lives are currently not working as expected during Star Tournament. This means that even if the Unlimited Lives timer is showing in your game, Star Tournament may still use your normal stored lives instead.

I completely understand why this is frustrating. If the game shows Unlimited Lives, it’s fair to expect that they should apply when you play.

The team is aware of this issue, but unfortunately it’s not something that can be solved quickly. This means you may continue to see this happen for a while when playing Star Tournament with Unlimited Lives active.

For now, please keep in mind that Unlimited Lives may not protect your stored lives while playing Star Tournament.

I have even better screenshots. ( 24 min left of unlimited lives) I and everyone else can ignore this message, but bigger problem is when timer expired you are back to 1 LIFE .

I'm checking with the team now about the fact that lives runs down in the background while indefinite lives are showing so I'll update this thread once I hear back!

I’m going to check this with the team, especially as your screenshots show Unlimited Lives still active on the map while the game seems to be warning you about normal lives during Star Tournament.

Hi @Jasam2025 I see exactly the same in my game. I agree it seems unfair if we started with full lives, use the unlimited lives the game throws at us only then to find we are down to zero lives!

I say "throws at us" because this just appears out of nowhere when I open the game and start playing every morning. It's not apparently linked to any event and there is no choice to deactivate it, nor is there a claim button. I would like to know why this has been introduced @QueenB and whether the fact that our lives run down in the background while indefinite lives are showing on the app is a glitch or intended.

Hi @QueenB ,

This time I took screenshots. I opened the game this morning and get booster will which gave me 15 min of unlimited lives ( I should have 5 lives as I was sleeping ).

After some time ( less then 15 min) when I lost 5 lives( playing Star tournament and don't have adds for additional moves) game was telling me that this is my last life.

However , when I got back to the map I still have 3 min of unlimited lives left

Of course I lost it agan in that 3 min and game is telling me that only one life left.

You can see that screenshots are taken in real time since they were not edited.

Please escalate this issue to correct group to fix it. It is really annoying especially when you are in timing event and every second counts.

As @MannyFae mentioned, this was a known issue back in February when Unlimited Lives were used during Star Tournament, so it could be related.

We have not seen other recent reports about it, but we will keep an eye on it. If more reports come in, we will make sure to flag it back to the Studio team.

In the meantime, please do keep an eye on it as well and let us know if you notice the same thing again the next time Star Tournament comes around.

Yes all this happened in Star turnament which is over now, and now I have time to report the issue😁. Anyway, this only happened when I use unlimited lives when I already had them. To be honest I usually not paying attention to this since I have almost all 200 lives from friends, but this time I knew that is something wrong because I should have them for 45min. Maybe, it happened before but I didn't notice sine time is flying when you play the game 😁. Before, I didn't use unlimited lives in Star turnament at all. Star turnament is there to make us occupied while we are waiting for new levels, but with Soccer tournament and Deep dive dash suddenly became more interesting and I decided to use it.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I will pay more attention to this

Are you playing the Star Tournament @Jasam2025 ? There is a known bug with unlimited lives affecting the Star Tournament, which was reported back in February.

I think there is some bug with unlimited lives. ( Or it did not work for me this time and unfortunately I didn't took screen shots).

I have 15 min of unlimited lives and then I took Team chest reward with 30 min of unlimited lives which will be 45min together.

Funny thing then happened, after I lost I think 5 lives, game was telling me that it was my last life, but when I go back to map I saw that I still have 15 min more of unlimited lives.

Maybe when you adding unlimited lives ( I never do this before) game is not counting correctly or my account is not coping properly.

I won't care about that but when time finally expired I was back to 0 lives, which is I think also wrong as I should collect at lest 2 lives in an hour that I was playing the game.

That is definitely recently changed since I remember one of the Cinemas which was offering unlimited lives and then after timer expired you had 5 lives.

Anica, game is changing and this is one of the change that is making it harder.

It is good to know that this is not glitch in my game

Hi @Jasam2025 and thanks for your question.

When Unlimited Lives ends, the game does not automatically refill back to 5 lives. It returns to your normal lives, so if you had 1 life available, that is what you may see after the timer finishes.
