Hello Candy Crush Team,
I have been playing Candy Crush for years and I’m currently above level 19,000. At this point, it’s becoming impossible to ignore how heavily the game appears to be designed to push players toward spending money rather than rewarding skill or strategy.
I understand that difficult levels are part of the game, but there is a big difference between “challenging” and “artificially frustrating.”
I’ve noticed that hints no longer appear when there are no obvious matches, yet as soon as I run out of moves, the game suddenly creates the exact cascades and combinations that would have allowed me to win if I had just one more move. It gives the impression that the game intentionally withholds those opportunities until players are encouraged to buy extra moves or boosters.
It is also very discouraging to spend days stuck on the same level and watch the episode race become impossible to win unless the game decides to let you pass. It no longer feels like success depends on good decisions or skill, but on waiting until the algorithm finally allows progression.
When I previously shared this concern, I was essentially told to keep trying or stop playing. That is not a real solution for loyal players who have invested years into this game. People download games to enjoy them, not to feel manipulated into making purchases.
Please consider making the game genuinely challenging instead of making players feel that the outcome is predetermined. Long-time players deserve a fair experience.
Thank you.
