Since no one seems to read the official "tap and swipe" thread, and I am getting the impression few players are seeing this, I'm creating a thread here, because this function revolutionises the speed of this game and I think players should be made aware of it.
I don't really and honestly think it helps pass levels. I mean: The levels we're meant to pass we'll pass anyway (the easy ones mid episode), the levels we are meant to fail (legendary ones etc) we will fail or use exactly the same strategy we normally use to pass, regardless of whether we have the tap function or not. I don't think it makes any difference to strategy for the question "Do I pass or do I fail?"
But: It is hugely speedy. The reason I am saying this is because I have a game with the tap function, which played from level 1 to level 1000 in five days and these are my findings:
- ALL special candies can be set off by tapping. This includes UFOs and coconut wheels embedded in the game-board
- While special candies are being activated we can continue to tap on the screen and I think those taps do affect the board, which was not possible before
- I currently have the super charger and was able to set off two super chargers. While the first was being activated to hit a combo twice, like it does, I was setting off the second super charger and watching it also set off its combo. This all seemed to happen simultaneously.
So I think this new feature is hugely advantageous in all competitions. I manage to regularly play one entire episode of the game in 11 or 12 minutes now. (This is at the easier level ranges around level 1000)
