A few days ago it used to build up at least 100 for day, now iI'm losing more than 200.
seems like the golden bars were split in half after each episode and therethere's almost never any ad after losing a match.

There could be a few more reasons in addition to the ones that christinewupp mentioned.
You get diminishing returns for beating more episodes in a day. Your timed boosters from the daily booster machine will likely have expired after the first two episodes. If you win a Candy Royale, you're probably not getting another one for a few days. Also, as you play more episodes in a single session, your eyes will start to get more tired, and you'll have more trouble thinking. That's a sign of needing to take a break, preferably until another day. (I almost always limit myself to one or two episodes in a day.)
Also, if you watch a lot of ads in one session, you're at risk of them "decaying" for lack of a better term. You'll be less likely to get them.
The difficulty can vary wildly over the course of many episodes. I don't know your level, but as an example, I've noticed that levels 5991-6200 or so were absolutely brutal. About half of the episodes were a huge struggle for breaking even on gold bars. Then, levels 6201-6275 were practically a breeze! I'm on level 6276 now. (I don't have the "boss levels" in my game for some reason.)
You are not the only one @shdw . I also found that one week ago the levels were much easier and the game allowed us to make lots of gold bars. I found even my game above level 16,000 easy to play and win gold. I was wondering what was going on. It turns out that all the lucky boards the game gave us last week were just thrown in to get us back into playing, and now things are back to normal and here come the boss levels that drain your gold reserve.
The outcome is written into the opening board we receive. If the app wants us to use up our gold bars and start paying money there is nothing players can do, (unless they know a few tricks we cannot share here in this forum). The answer is to stop playing and do something else with our lives. If you wait a week or two the app will sense this and give you some better rewards. Level difficulty may also improve again. It changes almost every week, or more often than that.
