How you are on a hard level and get crap moves the whole game and then the last move turns into a cascade miracle? That's not a money move designed to get you to pay to play, no... not happening. Won't be paying to play the game

I have not seen this last move cascade miracle you describe for a long time. @シリンダーノット I don't mean the cascade that happens on move zero, which leaves a board full of colour bombs but no move left. This means players do still fail the level and it is merely a con trick to persuade them to pay gold for more moves. It does not make the level more likely to be passable in my view, often you get a cascades and lots of help as soon as you decide to pay, no matter how blocked up the board looked. In fact sometimes you get fooled by this as well. I've often watched an ad and the moves were NOT enough, so the game then wants players to pay the inflated price of 16 gold. This is all a con trick, not a way for the game to actually want players to help pass a level.
I have in fact been wondering why King have removed the free pass with the mega cascade on the actual last move we used to often see years ago. I suspect it must have something to do with the changes in the algorithm since the AI took over, and since the jelly fish were introduced. Whenever the game wants us to pass for the reasons you stated, or simply because it's meant to be an easy level, then it's always with one simple last finishing move, such as a fish combo.
Yeah they took my ads
The last move is often rigged to be a cascade miracle.
Players staying stuck forever on a level is quite bad for King because they'll be more likely to stop playing. It's best for King to allow players to eventually move on to the next level (because they'll likely keep playing and thus be more likely to spend real money sometime in the future). There are a few systems in place to ensure that no one stays hopelessly stuck. The "cascade miracle" final move is one of them; you'll be more likely to win if you watch the ads for extra moves after a cascade miracle occurs.
The fact that the last move is so obviously rigged feels like a slap in the face at first, but the real purpose is to get you to the next level sooner. Even a lackluster attempt can suddenly become viable, and all you'll have to do is watch the ads or spend gold bars on a lower amount of moves to win. (The ads for extra moves are often enough, but those aren't always offered.)
