An error occurred during the level, making it impossible to continue and causing me to lose everything. I spent money to complete the race and used up all my gold bars because I knew I’d win a much bigger prize at the end—since almost all other players had already been eliminated—but now this has even jeopardized my standing in the Candy Cup for the next stage, as I’ve lost nearly everything. I’m including a link to a YouTube video of the incident, along with a screenshot of my World Cup progress showing the effort and time I’ve put in over the last seven days. It is incredibly frustrating to lose out like this, especially when it feels like the game was rigged to cause that specific error and result in the loss.

Regarding the level: after several attempts, it finally behaved correctly—the squares moved down and were filled by the jellies—so I was able to complete it.

As for the Candy Cup—where I scored 80,000—I know that score doesn't carry over to the next level; it was just the result I achieved while playing. Thanks for that.

And the most impressive—and totally frustrating—part of it all is that I didn't even get the special event booster for taking first place in the qualifier.

Hello @R4ph4eL I have tried the level and I now note that my board looks different from yours.

There is no marmalade for me and I do not get this glitch, so may I ask if you see it repeatedly every time you play this level? I played without boosters and did no have any problem. I think to avoid the continuous looping you need to remove the frosting first and then remove the toffee. Please let us know if it happens again when you play the level with no boosters. If you could post a screenshot of your starting board it might help understand what is different in your version of the level.

You might try to play no boosters and follow the hinted moves and that might avoid the glitch, in case this happens all the time and you can't get past this level. You might want to report it in this thread I link here, but please note that Player Support do not work weekends, so it's not likely to get fixed before next week.

I note that you scored a lot more points in the Candy Cup than was necessary to qualify for the next round. You only needed to score 28,000 points to pass in this round. I hope you realise that the excess points won't count for the next round because each round your score starts again at zero.

The game is rigged to make players spend money. Please be careful.

That's an incredibly unfortunate oversight with the level's design. From what I can tell, the moving toffee swirls on the right are sliding to the left because their intended location is clogged with another blocker. To get around this on your next attempt, try removing the marmalade that's closest to the toffee swirl dispenser first and work your way downstream. You'll be less likely to encounter this problem, but it's no guarantee. King can fix this by placing candy cane fences between the outer and inner portions of the checkerboard.

By the way, if you put your player ID in your post, the support team might give you some compensation. It's not guaranteed, but it can't hurt to try.
