Does CCS become really hard when approaching end of the game ?

20 months ago, I restarted my game. Today I am at level 17k. The goal is to reach end of game. I have read somewhere the game will become much harder approaching end of the game. Is that still the case, when will that happen and how impossible does the game become?

I am in pretty good shape when it comes to boosters (35k gold, 7k of boosters), and my consideration is when I can start to relax a little and use more gold/boosters.

Hi @kold I am one of the people who always pointed out how the game tries to stop players who never spend any real money from reaching the end of the game. Traditionally the last 2000 or so levels become the hardest. I am currently trying to reach the end of the map again and so far am not seeing a major block as I am approaching level 19,000. Basically the block means that you may see fewer good events and more episodes in which you will have to spend more money than can be earned, however with your inventory and 35 thousand gold bars I have no doubt that you will be able to reach the end of the map with that account. That is more than enough. The game is generally becoming more uniform and there are blocker episode in the lower stages as well now, so I'm not even sure if the last 2000 levels will be all that different, except they are all AI written and quite boring compared to levels 7000-18,000. But I am confident that you will not hit a wall that cannot be surmounted with that amount of gold. You obviously know how to play Candy Crush sensibly.
