After a 2-year break, I came back in.

So gradually, I'm seeing gaming experts everywhere. There used to be gaming experts who are now designated as moderators. These gaming experts are different. I think they're from the King Team behind the scenes. Not players, like before. I see them moving posts around, and now I also think they're from customer service with the tickets. So from the Help Center. Could you please write a public post about the new gaming experts?

I'm interested in everything about the gaming experts.

Can one directly contact the gaming experts if one has problems, etc.?

Even I once searched for information about the gaming expert and unfortunately found nothing.

In the past, the players were called "player experts". They were made to do that. That's how I read it here too. That's why I also wrote player expert. I wasn't concerned with the word itself. No, just with this role of the people in charge. I'm just a simple player. Like many players here. I read a lot, but I don't accuse anyone. You can also just ignore it. I always try to explain things well, the questions that are asked. That's enough.

I'm sorry if you feel that way. The reason I asked you to change the title is because only the person who created a thread can make this change. Therefore I thought I'd suggest it. It made sense to me and it's not the first time I've asked someone to change their header. I've asked others as well in the past, it's certainly not a personal insult or criticism. Please accept my apologies.

The reason I suggested the change from "player" to "game" is because I could see it was a translation error: "Player" and "game" are both "Spiel/Spieler" in German. Your language does not make a distinction of the two, but in English they mean two very different things. The words "player expert" suggests that the person actually plays the game themselves, and is an expert at playing the game. The word "game expert" suggests that it is someone in charge of looking after the game, an expert at the functioning of the app. Those are quite different to me.

After your announcement and explanation, I wonder if it's really appropriate for gaming experts? If they themselves have no idea about the game. They just deal with all the technical errors related to the game.

One could have simply written, it's called a gaming expert. That would have been enough. "But the sentence, I should change something" is the point that bothers me.

The so-called Game Experts are definitely not experienced players of the game, that much is for sure.

I suspect they are AI or possibly poorly paid staff, trained to give stock answers, usually taken directly from the Help Centre info.

Look at this standard answer given to someone today who has been stuck on a level in the upper 19,000s for a week:

"Hi there, if you're having a hard time with a level you should try these steps:
Why not tackle the toughest blockers first? That way, you can open up the board and enjoy more moves!
Try matching candies near the bottom to create exciting cascades and boost your progress!
How about making special candies early on? Save them for amazing combos instead of using them one by one!
Keep your eyes on the main goal and make every move count by avoiding unnecessary matches!
If the beginning feels tricky, go ahead and use a booster to give yourself a great head start!
I hope you can beat this level and continue your adventure."

This answer is really quite an insult to someone who got that far into the game.

The Game Experts can however access players' accounts directly and send them specific help, such as a booster gift, which may be what actually then is all that is needed to pass the offending level, so the complainant goes away satisfied because they did get help invisible to the rest of us. The rewards given out to players who repeatedly post here that they are stuck can be substantial: One person was given a gift of several hundreds of UFOs by player support recently, presumably because he kept nagging and posting here about being stuck at every other level.

On technical questions, especially those not answered by player support, the Game Experts are often very useful. They can access specific support tickets and immediately deal with them. If a player accesses the Community via the link in the game, or possibly also if they use the same email used for their game and their community account, then the Game Experts can access their accounts without being told the player ID.

I think Player Support and these Game Experts are the same people/AI. They don't play Candy Crush themselves. So the name is a bit misleading. The Game Experts are technical support crew, but in no way experts at how to play the game of Candy Crush!

@Spinnifix I wonder if you could change the title of this thread to "Game Experts" as that would make it easier for everyone to know what this thread is about, thanks.

I remember Carol asking a similar question to yours a few months ago, but was given a very short answer, similar to what is written in the official info. I think we were told they were "support staff" to help out the moderators.

In contrast to Moderators, Game Experts are King employees. They can help answer Support questions and provide technical help to players. They are able to do more actions within the Community to reduce the workload on our Managers. There is a group of Game Experts, so you will see various members of that group respond to player issues, but there is no "mailbox" for that group.
