How do I report spammers now?

I would like to report a spammer called Gahook who seems to be the previous Chelp who posted in the thread “Best Games forever” by giving away another person’s previously deleted personal details yesterday. They also made a rude comment and posted some explicitly rude images in another thread the same day ("gift card"). @QueenB @LoFiGummy @PummyRaj . There are other posts that seem to be spam from others, but I don’t have the time to check them all out because I’m on holiday.

In this day of AI, creating multiple accounts with malicious content and spamming is becoming easier and easier. If this community is supposed to continue to function there needs to be a better system (in fact any system at all) to stop this.

Thank you for flagging this, and thanks @MountainMom for jumping in and bringing it to our attention as well.

I’ve taken care of the account and it has now been banned. I’ve also removed the inappropriate content.

And Christine, I hear you regarding having a clearer way to report this type of content. For now, please continue to flag/report any posts or comments that need our attention. Those reports help us spot and deal with them much faster, especially when there are several posts involved.

You definitely don’t need to spend your holiday hunting down every suspicious post though 😅 We’ll take it from here 😉
