the one ad you watch for more moves, it’s for a password game, you watch and get stuck in the ad. There is No Way to navigate back to the game. I lost progress and had to close the game twice

I know how frustrating it can be to encounter a faulty ad. Let's try a few things:
If there is no "x" button or you get redirected to the advertiser's website, you might try to tap on the "back" button on your device. It could return you to the game but you might or might not get the reward for watching the ad.
On some ads, there is a button in a bottom corner of the ad. After tapping on that button, you can select "Broken" from a set of options.
It is often helpful to clear the cache in both your game and your device. To clear your game cache: (a) for Android devices: Settings > Apps > Candy Crush Saga > Storage > Clear Cache or (b) for iOS devices: Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data This is important because overloaded cache in your game or on your device can create issues. (NOTE: Do NOT clear your game data -- that is where your boosters are stored.)
