so for over a month now I cant access the treat calendar and receive lives from friends on a apple device. I restarted the device,logged in and out and updated my apps several times..nothing works..please fix this

Make sure update your App .
The Treat Calender is in the Test Group so we cannot say for sure that you will always find this feature.
The Fun Event menu returns when the game is regular. Probably no event is currently active for you so the menu is not available.
Keep playing the game, your fun event menu will return.

Please do the standard troubleshooting by Log out, update your game application, restart your device and login again and check if it solves your case.

Sorry your having these problems. The treat calendar may come and go as it is a bonus feature and you never know which features you will have. You've done the basic troubleshooting so I suggest you contact customer support to see if they can help.
