How do you actually update the app on a laptop?

Question

I usually play Candy Crush on my laptop.  I have it pinned to the bottom toolbar.  It keeps freezing up whenever I run out of lives & I have to close and reopen.  I am unable to use my lives and then redeem the ones sent to me.  Nor can I get back to the homescreen with out closing out first.  This just started this week

@jbpiggy Hi and welcome, If you play via an internet browser on king.com or facebook you just need to keep your browser up to date. the main thing to do when you have problems is to clear your browser cache and restart your device and this should solve most issues
