Understood that your friends' list is missing and please be informed that aside from the link shared by Mr Freddy, there has been connection issue going in with Facebook and it is still being fixed.
Unfortunately, there is no timeline as to when it will be fixed. Therefore, your kind patience is greatly appreciated. In the meantime, please continue playing.
Personally, I will log in to play with different device as it will give me 5 full lives for first time log in. If you think method is adoptable, you may try but do remember to exit/log out from your game before you switch to playing with another device to ensure that your progress is saved properly.
Please let us know if you need help with other issues in the game.

Some privacy settings in Facebook can affect whether your game progress is synced and if your friends’ lists appear in the game. If you are having issues with either, try the tips below.
If you have lost your saved game on mobile, try signing in again to Facebook
- Make sure that you are correctly signed in to your Facebook profile in your phone. Open your Facebook app and log in as normal. Enter your email and password and access your account.
- Open your game in your device
- Clock on the blue button with the Facebook symbol to access your saved game. Restart your game and your progress should be right back where you left it!
Check your app permissions
When you give an app access to your Facebook account, that access expires after 90 days. Once it passes that date, the app loses access to your account, which may stop it from working as intended.
You can check which apps are active, expired or have been removed from your account by accessing this link: https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications
If the game is listed as “expired”, it means your Friends list and progress may not sync with the game.
Click “Renew Access” to reactivate the app’s permissions.
You might also want to check your active app-permissions by clicking the “view and edit” link.
If “Friends list” is not selected, our games will not be able to view your friends, and you will not be able to send messages or receive help from them.
Remember you’ll have to do this every 90 days.
