There is a long standing connection issue in the game and if the above troubleshooting tips do not work for you . you may find the only other option would to be to uninstall and reinstall the app, but if this is a mobile Device you will LOSE any stored BOOSTERS or LIVES

Slow internet, Game not connected, or some other reason, you may face such problems. You can check out some troubleshooting below.
Reset/Clear cache data from App Store - Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.
