Glitch/bug encounter on level 3616 (Candy Crush Saga)

Hi all! There's a glitch/bug on level 3616 that is preventing me from completing the level. This issue triggers whenever I blow a special candy up to collect the waffles which is what is needed for the order level. After triggering, the waffles end up getting stuck up in the board (shown in the picture provided below) and doesn't slide out to fill in the spaces. Is this normal? How can I avoid this issue?
